Dementia Program
Our Dementia Program features a variety of specialized services to enhance the quality of life of persons with Alzheimer’s and other Dementias, including:
- Sensory stimulation in small groups and one to one activities sessions;
- Music therapy provided by a therapist with over twenty years of experience;
- Individualized meals and snacks to meet the special nutritional needs of persons with Dementia; and
- Pet therapy to provide comfort, affection, and socialization
Our social workers also provide ongoing support to family members, to help them to understand and cope with the challenges associated with Dementia.
